Lauren and Gavin have such imaginations. Every day I often find scenes such as the ones in the pictures. Gavin loves to dress up in whatever he can put on himself. From Lauren's necklaces, aprons, hats and this CD player - he loves to put it on! Today he was jammin' to the Barbie Princess tunes this CD player plays. Lauren lately has been on this kick of families - good right?! She loves to get all my lotions, deodorants, and toothpastes and pretend they are a family. She will play and play and play with these things. I can hear her in the bathroom talking with them. Conversations she has are similar to things that we talk about and do as a family. I am so glad that they both have good imaginations and like to play, especially when they play together. It's really sweet!

PRINCESS FOR A DAY...MAKE THAT EVERYDAY!
Lauren loves to dress up and be a "princess"! Today she had 2 of her friends over and it was dresses, shoes, gloves, necklaces, and tiaras as usual! I thought they looked so cute I had to post these pictures.

UNCLE KEVIN & AUNT CAMI COME TO VISIT
We enjoyed a fun week hanging out with Uncle Kevin and Aunt Cami. They came all the way from Dallas, TX to go to a home builders convention here. Lauren and Gavin had a blast playing with them. As you can see, we had so much fun that we forgot to take many pictures! Thanks for coming to see us. We love you!

THE MANY FACES OF LAUREN
I had fun on Saturday taking these pictures of Lauren. She was being so cute and playful with me. At 3 1/2 (I can hardly believe it!) she loves to sing songs, dress up, and play with her friends. She is quite the social butterfly! She constantly keeps us laughing with the things that she comes up with. We love our Lauren Elizabeth!

MAKING COOKIES WITH GRANDMA!
Lauren had fun making cookies this weekend with Grandma Jensen. She loved playing with the flour and building "castles" with it. She is quite the helper in the kitchen. Anytime there is cooking to be done, she is right there with her stool and ready to help. Such a helper!

iPod JAMMING!
Today, Kerry introduced Gavin to the world of iPod music. This kid sat for a solid 20 minutes listening to music on Kerry's iPod. He loved it! Every now and again we would catch him bobbing his head to the beat of the music. I am getting the feeling that we have another future musician on our hands.

CONGRATS AUNT KYLENE & UNCLE GREG!
We have been dying to share that two of our favorite people are getting married! Aunt Kylene got engaged last night to Greg May. They are just the cutest couple! We are super excited for them!!
Lauren and Gavin already know and love their new uncle to be. He is so great with them and we are excited to add him to the family! We are looking forward to a beautiful wedding in May and many fun memories to come! Congratulations - we love you both!

OSCEOLA COUNTY FAIR - The Carnival
Lauren had NO fear when it came to riding any ride at the carnival. She is definitely NOT like her mom who gladly let dad take her on all the rides. Of course, she loved the carousel the best. But she is still talking about the ferris wheel, asking if she can ride it again. The last picture of her on the 4-wheeler is for Papa Tait - we think we might need to do a "Bear Lake 4-wheeler Make-over" after seeing this thing! You can't see it but it even had a trailer attached to it. Plenty of room for all the Tait grandchildren to ride with you - not to mention you'd be ridin' in style!

OSCEOLA COUNTY FAIR - The Animals
The kids had fun checking out all the animals. We saw chickens, roosters, rabbits, turkeys, cows, pigs, and horses. Gavin was enthralled by all their movements and sounds. Lauren at times was timid but fell in love with the rabbits and horses. **As a side note, please ignore the HUGE pieces of gum that seem to have found their way into almost every picture I took!

LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON
Aren't the Tait boys so handsome?! Of course, I am totally biased when it comes to this. I had to post these pictures because I thought they were super cute!
