THE PISTON CUP

For Christmas, Papa and Gwama Tait gave the kids this awesome race track. They have had so much racing Lightning McQueen and Chick. Gavin just can't get enough racing! He gets really upset when we have to take a "pit stop" to recharge the cars. What a fun toy!

SANIBEL BEACH

The last day of our beach vacation was spent at Sanibel Beach. This beach had the most seashells - and they were pretty decent size too! As you can tell, we had a great time discovering some of Florida's beautiful scenery this weekend. Thanks again to Papa and Grandma Jensen for a great trip.

FT. MYERS BEACH

After our stroll through Alligator Alley, we headed out to the beautiful Ft. Myers Beach. The sand was heavenly and the weather was perfect. The boys headed out on jet skis and the kids played, and played, and played in the sand loving every minute of it!

A STROLL DOWN ALLIGATOR ALLEY

And yes, there really is such a thing as "Alligator Alley." And it is appropriately named since the side of the streets are pratically lined with gators. You can't drive for more that 10 feet without seeing one. Kind of freaky! Kind of cool! We stopped at a look-out point to see the gators up close. Like I said earlier, one kid didn't mind them being there and the other one definitely did. You decide which is which!

CHRISTMAS

Well, we don't know if it really happened since mom - again - forgot to take ANY pictures!!! What in the world was I thinking? Oh, I know....I was trying to contain the excitement of a 4 year old and a 2 year old. Believe me when I say, we had a great Christmas! The kids were spoiled rotten by their grandparents and aunts and uncles!

Christmas Day did kick off the beginning of a little Jensen Family adventure to South Florida. After lunch we packed up and headed down to the beaches of Ft. Myers. The weather was 80 degrees the entire weekend. We went to several different beaches and to the Everglades. It was so much fun! Both kids loved the water. One didn't love the gators. Everyone had fun!! Thanks Papa and Grandma Jensen for a fun trip! Thanks Uncle Keith and Uncle Al for taking such good care of Lauren and Gavin. They had so much fun with you both!!

Here are pictures of the 1st beach we went to - Bonita? (Dad, help me remember?)

In Keith's defense his shirt does say: "Don't bother me, I'm crabby!" Fitting.

CHRISTMAS EVE

We had a fun Christmas Eve with our traditional Jack Horner Pie Game. The highlight - GOLDFISH! Unfortunately, our 6 new friends never made it to see morning and mom (the photographer) didn't even take any pictures of them to remember them by.

CHRISTMAS LIGHT-SEEING

Tonight we went on a little adventure to the Grand Floridian Hotel at Disney. Their lobby was beautifully decorated with the largest Christmas tree I have ever seen. They also had a life-size gingerbread house that was made completely out of edible goodness. It was fun to wander around and hear the Christmas music and see the lights. We were accompanied by our good friends Carla and Sammie.
