Trick-or-Treat Time!

Well after all the Halloween festivities of the week, we have FINALLY made it to Halloween! We enjoyed a great night with friends. It was Addison's birthday, who happens to be Gavin's BFF! She is the cute little blonde in lots of his pictures. The kids had fun Trick-or-Treating! Gavin wore his entire Buzz Lightyear costume, which would have been more appropriately worn in a state like....Montana or Michigan where the weather is actually COLD on Halloween. He sweat it out though! What a tough guy!

Sea World SPOOKTACULAR

Today we went to Sea World with lots of our friends. We enjoyed a nice fall day - 88 degrees - and lots of fun! Lauren would have it no other way, she had to go in full costume! Love that girl!!

Sea World does such a wonderful job. I love all the costumes and colors. They give out good candy too! It's just a great event!




























The BIG achievement of the day was Lauren riding on Journey to Atlantis. This ride has a similar drop to Splash Mountain only it's twice as big. She has tried several times to go on this ride only to back out at the last minute. Today she did it!! YAY Lauren! She told me that she could ride it now that she is in Kindergarten.

Character Day & Book Parade

At school today the kids were allowed to dress up as a character from a book. They had to bring the book and then they got to go on a parade around the school. Most of the Kindergartener's were very shy. NOT my Lauren! She was waving and smiling and living it up! From across the room I noticed that her lips seemed to be extremely red. When we got back to the class she told me that her friend had let her borrow her lipstick. She was worried all day that any eating or drinking would wash it off. What are we going to do with her! She loves school and had so much fun today!

TRUNK-OR-TREAT

Tonight was our Ward Trunk-0r-Treat event. Unfortunately, when you are in helping run the event you don't get enough pictures. Regardless, the night was a HUGE success and the kids had a great time.

Fire Station Fun!

The kids did not have school today. Our original plans fell through due to bad weather. So we went with our friends the Wards to the Fire Station for a fun little visit. The kids got to check out the firetruck and even dress up in a jacket and helmet. They could hardly keep the helmet on their heads it was so heavy. They had fun! Then we all went to the movies - "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs". What a fun day!
