HALLOWEEN PETER PAN STYLE!

On this Halloween Eve, we took our journery to Never Neverland. Except this version is a little twisted....Captian Hook and Wendy kissed and are married. And Tinkerbell is quite larger than Peter Pan. Nonetheless, there were plenty of treats for everyone and a good time was had by all!

TRUNK-OR-TREAT

Tonight we enjoyed our ward Trunk-or-Treat. Our costumes were quite the hit! Kerry was asked by several people to pose with them for pictures. He looked great - and the kids were super cute!! We had fun this year dressing up all together.

SEA WORLD SPOOKTACULAR

On Saturday we went to Sea World's Spooktacular and boy did we have fun! I think the pictures will speak for themselves, but our little "Tinkerbell" got a bag full of treats and had fun meeting all the fun creatures. Gavin was really just along for the ride and pretty much was just in heaven digging through his bag of treats and feasting! We had a great time with our friends the Garrett's. 6 QUIRKS ABOUT US!

So this has been a fun little TAG to think about....6 Quirks (a.k.a. Bell Ringers). This prompted us to look up the definition of a "quirk" and here is what we found it means: 'a peculiar trait.' So here are our peculiar traits that make us, well, US!


KERRY

1. All DVD's, and CD's will be alphabetized at all times!

2. No candy wrappers can EVER be left out.

3. Anything he eats is a work of art! He will spend a lot of time preparing the presentation of his food.

4. A meal is not complete without a piece of chocolate or a cookie.

5. Will stay up late even if he is dead, dog tired!

6. Leaves himself random notes, phone numbers, and messages all over the place. Don't you think his life would be easier if he learned to consolidate?!


STACY

1. Must sleep with the ceiling fan on, even in the dead of winter (while sleeping with an electric blanket on!)

2. Must have a cup of hot chocolate EVERY morning.

3. Won't touch the drain of a shower or pool - they're scary!

4. Will not eat the ends of a piece of chicken.

5. Won't eat anything that lives in the water.

6. Drinking water has to be room temperature.

PUMPKINS, PUMPKINS EVERYWHERE!

Tonight we went to The Great Pumpkin Patch! The kids had fun running around looking at all the pumpkins and trying to decide which ones we should take home.

THE SCIENCE CENTER

Today the kids and I went to the Orlando Science Center.


They didn't really appreciate the dinosaurs. Gavin roared a few times while Lauren looked around in terror. I did actually catch a smile for this picture, although it took some work to get her to turn her back to this big creature!


Gavin was just happy to be there! He loved the baby alligators, "DORI",playing in the water and fixing the car! What more could a boy really want!

Lauren loved dressing up like a butterfly, checking out the turtles, and working on the car too!






All in all, a very successful and fun outing!

Today I was invited to read books in Lauren's Preschool Class. She wanted me to share her favorite Halloween books. All her friends loved the stories she chose for me to read.

This is for all our family and friends who have begun to feel the effects of winter.....this picture was taken yesterday at Aquatica. Temperature: 93 degrees! Did I mention that this why we LOVE living in Florida!!
