SPRING BREAK - Cocoa Beach

Today was the first day of Spring Break and we went to Cocoa Beach with our friends. Gavin was there....I just don't have any pictures of him...oops! Lauren had a blast with all the girls around. They built sand castles, jumped in the waves, buried each other in the sand, built a pyramid and caught some sand crabs. It was a great day to be at the beach!

STRAWBERRY PICKING

Today we went with our friends to pick some yummy fresh strawberries. You can't tell, but Gavin had a blast going up and down the rows picking his own basket full of berries....mom just didn't get the camera out in time to capture the moment! So here he is with his strawberries and playing in the dirt, which is a favorite pasttime of his! The strawberries were devoured at our house. We can't wait to go and pick more!!

SPLASH PARK FUN

The weather has been so nice we decided to hit the splash park today. The kids enjoyed playing around. Gavin wasn't quite sure of the water yet. Lauren was all about it!

NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART.....

The images you are about to see are slightly disturbing and very, very sad. On Tuesday, we had an unfortunate accident in our house which involved Gavin's little fingers and our sliding glass door. The first picture was taken the day after it happened. Not too bad....but the other 3 pictures were taken today. His fingers look so bad. I am not quite sure what to do. He doesn't seem to be in pain. It just breaks my heart.
