SPRING BREAK - Grandma's House

For the past couple of days, we have been and Papa and Grandma Jensen's house. The kids have had so much fun running around outside and being spoiled!!
Probably the greatest thing to come out of our quick visit was a beautiful pink cape. Why you might ask? Well, a couple of weeks ago Lauren's dad decided to let her watch the movie Superman. Little did we know, it would become an obsession! It's all she talks about. It's all she thinks about. Superman this, super powers that. It has actually proved to be a good learning tool for me to her about her own "super powers" and how she has to make good choices. She gets it, which is great!
Anyway, Grandma whipped up this hot pink cape for her, and oh my goodness, is Lauren in love! She cruised the neighborhood in search of those in need of her help. She ran around the house "flying". She has had more fun with this cape than we ever imagined. Thanks Grandma!

I think my Brooklyn and your Lauren would really hit it off - and our cousin Carli would steal that cape if she had the chance:)

how fun is that. will have to give a shout out to my talented sister. i have yet to let my kids watch superman... but then, they leap off of "tall buildings" enough as it is. maybe i'll hold off a while. i don't think my dining room table can take much more!
